Holiday Reading Challenge

The Craigie Heights Reading Challenge takes place every school holidays.

This challenge is simple! All that is required is for your child to be either read to, or they read to themselves, at least 5 times per week for 15-20 minutes. This will mean that at the start of Term, your child will have been read to or have read to themselves for 10 days or more.

The Craigie Heights Holiday Reading Challenge will start on the last Friday of the School Term and concludes on the first day back. If you are interested in your child’s education this is a very important step in setting your child up for a successful start for the new school term.  Forms must be returned to your classroom teacher at the start of term.

Every student who completes the Holiday Reading Challenge will receive 10 Harmony Awards which go towards earning them their Certificates of Commendation.
